POLICE RAID IN DUBLIN
UNDER NEW SAFETY ACT
DUBLIN, 30th October. The police raided the offices of "An PobUieht," the organ of the Irish revolutionary movement, and seized all
copies. Newsboys, ciirrying placards, "We will not yield," sold papers *" II|C street this morning, but the supplies were commandeered.
The raid followed the new Public Safety Act, which prohibits the publication of any newspaper on behalf of an illegal organisation. The penalties include the forfeiture of machinery and such other punishment "as the military tribunal thiuks proper to inflict,"
