MONOWAI DUE MONDAY

Several batches of overseas mails are expected to reach Wellington on Monday, both' from America and Europe, and from Australia, all except that arriving by the Monowai coming via Auckland. Tlio Monowai has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Wellington at 6 a.m. on. Monday from Sydney. She will berth about 830 o'clock at No. 1 south, Queens Wharf, and is to sail from there on Tuesday afternoon in continuation ot her voyage to San Francisco, via Barotonga and Papeete, ■ . The Monowai brings the following passengers to Wellington: First class, 68- second class, 29; third class, 23. In addition there are five through passengers in both the first and second classes, and seven In the third class. Her mail comprises 61 bags and 83 parcel receptacles. , , , . , The Aorangi, which is due at AucKland to-morrow afternoon from Vancouver, via Honolulu and Suva, brings 539 bags of English and American mail for Wellington, and the Ventura, which arrived at Auckland this morning from Sydney, brought 323 bags for Wellington from Sydney. The Euahine is expected to reach Auckland at 5 o 'clock to-morrow morning from Southampton with parcel and letter mails, and the Golden West is also due there to-morrow from Los Angeles with 80 bags for Wellington. A further batch of Australian mail is expected to reach Auckland on Tuesday by the Maunganui from Sydney.
