INSURANCE MURDER AND ' FRAUDS

(Received 31st October, 2.30 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, 30th October. A diabolical murder was revealed when a slate contractor was sentenced to life imprisonment for pushing a workman from the steeple of aa Amsterdam church. The contractor insured the man for £5000, aud when tho workman fell on 29th March, 1929, he collected the money. A year passed before suspicion was aroused. Then ho was arrested, and is now convicted of thrusting the workman from the steeple, in order to collect the insurance.
