MR. HOLLAND'S MEETING

It appears likely that the Labour Party will be first in the field with its election policy. Mr. H. E. Holland,

Leader of the Opposition, will address a meeting in the largo Town Hall on Wednesday evening next, 4th November, and in the course of that speech will announce the programmo with which Labour-will go to the country. In addition, Mr. Holland can be expected to submit the legislative and administrative actions of the United and ..Reform Parties to a searching scrutiny and criticism. The Labour Party's views on unemployment and unemployment schemes, the financial and industrial depression, the repeal of the graduated land tax, and other political questions should be of great interest. Mr. Holland is such an able platform speaker that he is suie to attract v. big crowd. As a very large attendance is? anticipated, the doors will be opened at 7 o'clock. Au overflow meeting is being considered.
