ESPERANTO CLUB.
The. weekly meeting ,pf tlie Wellington Esperanto Club took place ■ last Tuesday night in the V.M.C.A., Mr. B. G. Jack presiding. Tuition classes occupied the first .portion of the evening, after which an entertaining programme was presented. Mr. Joseph Major narrated in Esperanto k recent visit to the Tayaruas, which proved very amusing. Miss G. Carty read an enjoyable item in- Esperanto entitled "Por ke Oni "Uayu Bonan Sanon.'*', Mr. Jack also contributed an Esperanto reading on "La Ebla Malaperoi de la Gramofondisko." The conchiding item was an address in Esperanto by the club secretary, Mr. Bertram Potts, on "La Tatunrto de la Maori," a description of the tattooing art as practised at the time of the pakeha's atriyalin Ifew Zcnlari(T. i!"""'''
