A message from Nicosia (Cyprus) states that the troops wero compelled to fire in a riot outside the Commissioner 's office at Kyrenia, led by the .Bishop of Kyrenia, who was arrested. Four were wounded. , A mob attacked the police station at Tamagusta. Details are lacking. Those arrested in connection witn the revolt include two members of the Legislative Council.
