CONCERT DATES

(To'the Editor.) Sir, —Kindly allow me "to correct a mistake appearing in the letter over my name in this evening's "Post." After stating that my committee made overtures to the Choral Union Committee asking it to alter its date you have "This it has definitely decided to do"; what I wrote was "This it has definitely declined to do." While writing I would like to take the opportunity also to correct my quotation from the letter received from the hon. secretary of the union. By a typing error the word "reasons" was inserted, whereas the quotation should read "owing to circumstances beyond our control."—l am, VICTOR R. BENNETT, Hon. Secretary, the Wellington Harmonic Society. 2Cth October.
