Wing-Commander and Mrs. GruntDalton and family, Lower Hutt, have left Wellington for Orari, Goraldine, where they will live until their departure in January for England. Lady Carncross hns returned to Wellington after a visit to Taihapo, where sho was the guest of Mrs. Ensor. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Duncan, Murphy street, returned to Wellington this morning after visiting Christchurch for the golf tournament. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnston, Hobson street, have been paying a brief visit to Gisborne, and will return to Wellington this week. Miss Rosemary Waller, Auckland, who has been the guest of Mrs. Vivian Biddiford, "Woburn," Lower Hutt, left to-day for a visit to Glenburn, Wairarapa. Mrs. Lan MacEae, who has been the guest of Miss Olive M'llraith, Christchurch, returned to Wellington this morning, and will leave for the Wairarapa to-morrow. Mrs. George Helmore, Fondalton, Christchurch, and Mr. and Mrs. Kossmore Craoroft Wilson, Cashmere Hills, will arrive this week to visit Mr. D. Helmore, Martinborough. Mrs. O. Beetham, Wairarapa, has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. C. B. Bidwill, Pipitea street, for the races. Mr. and Mrs. J. Brodie . and Miss Lorua Brodio were the guests of Mrs. Garcia Webster at Heretaunga for the Mr. and Mrs. John Franklin, Highland Park, returned to Wellington yesterday after a visit to Rotorua and the Chateau. Miss Cara Johnston, Hobson street, has been the guest of Miss Penelope Blundell, Heretaunga, for the races.
