TWO CARS COLLIDE

OPOTIKI, This Day

At 2 a.m. on Sunday a car driven by Mr. F. Walsh, of Onehunga, who was accompanied-by his wife and daughter, collided with another car; driven by Mr. 11. Collier at Kutarere, near Kukumoa Hill, two miles from Opotiki. Mr; Walsh's car was thrown into a drain containing sft of water, and was extricated with difficulty. Mrs. Walsh had her 03*0 badly cut and suffered concussion, and Miss Walsh had her head badly cut. They were taken to hospital. Mr. Walsh and four passengers in the other car suffered from shock and bruises. Both cars were extensively damaged, but they were insured.
