MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENTS
Motor-cycles , wete concerned in three accidents last evering, two men receiving fractured thighs and one minor injuries. All were attended to by the City Ambulance. R. IT. Luckman. of 203, Melbourne road, Island Bay, was loturning from Foxton on his motor-cycle when he collided with a motor-car on the Packakariki Hill road. His right thigh and ankle were broken, and after rccoiviig attention at the Porirua Mental Hospital he was brought into the Wellington Hospital. In another tollision between a motorcar and a nutor-cycle, W. Trall'ord, a clerk, living st 30, Mulgrave street,, received lacerated wounds to his arm and suffered from shock. His injuries were not serious, and after receiving attention at the Hospital he was taken home. The accident occurred outside the Queen s Wharf gates at about 6.50 p.m. A skid ii) some loose metal caused a motor-cycle to capsize near the Porirua railway crowing at about 8.30 p.m. The pillion ridiv. T. Lawton, an upholsterer living in JJ'Coll street, had his left thigh fractured. He was taken to the Hospital.
