(Kecoived 20th October, 10 a.m!) ADELAIDE, This Day. When Mr. J. S. Stanley, of the Seamen's Mission at Port, Adelaide, Tealised the significance of remarks by Mr. Gosling at a church service, he closed the proceedings. Mr. Gosling opened his remarks with the statement that the churches should combine against Capitalism. . ' Later, Mr. Stanley said: "The Gosling incident has been an eye-opener to me on political workings. Wo expected a spiritual messenger, but instead the speaker was out to voice political views that could not be tolerated at the mission." Another membei' of the committee Baid that a spiritual service to seafarers was broken' up by a political trick.
