MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Cases at the Magistrate's Court to-day were dealt with by Mr. W. H. Woodwardj S.M.

Athol James Murphy, seaman, aged 19, was fined £3 for using obscene language in Queen street, Auckland. A further remand until 28th October was granted in the case o£ Eric Williams Booth, carpenter, aged 30, who was charged with failing to account -for £6 11s 6d, thereby committing theft. Bail, which had previously been fixed at £23, with one suety of £25, was renewed.
