HENDERSON'S VISIT

LLOYD GEORGE'S OBJECT ?

(United Vrts* Association —3y Electric Tele. Kraph—Copyright.) (Received 12th October, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 11th October. A week-end event exciting comment was Mr. Arthur Henderson's visit to Mr. Lloyd George at the latter's invitation. The Sunday papers have come to the conclusion that Mr. Lloyd George has decided to break away from the Liberals and make some arrangement ■with the official Labour Party. The newspapers opine Mr. Henderson's visit to Mr. Lloyd George very significant as leading: to a new anti-Nationalist pact. The "Sunday Times" says that the visit strongly supports the suggestion of the Socialists that the Lloyd George Liberals are contemplating an alliance. The paper points out that the Socialists are: not opposing Mr. Lloyd George or Miss Megan Lloyd George.
