SUMMER SPORTS

The Lower Hutt Tennis Club (Knight's road) opened its season tliis afternoon, the ceremony being performed by the Mayor (Mr. W. T. Strand). Mr. W. Nash, M.P., also spoke. Other summer sports which commenced their games this afternopTi were Hie Ngaroraa Croquet Club, the Pctonc West Tennis Club, and- tho Eastbourne Tennis Club. Mr. Nash, M.P., spoke at each of these openings.
