Judge Beoby, as Koyal Commissione* who inquired recently as to whethef Jacob Johnson, the former Seamen* Union secretary, nad been wrongly convicted for inciting the crew of th« steamer Bearwon to strike in 1938, fo* which he served 4J months' imprison* ment, found that there had been no miscarriage of justice oh that occasion, and the conviction was thus sustained.
