SEEKING SETTLEMENT
INDIAN MINORITIES
DELEGATES' MEETING

The Prime Minister this morning presided over a further meeting of the Minority Committee of the Bound Table Conference. After "discussion, it was agreed to adjourn the Committee for a week to permit all Indian, comunities and interests represented on the committee to meet informally in an endeavour to compose their present differences. '■..', ■. . ' The proposal to adjourn for a week was moved by Mr. Gandhi, and formally seconded by/the' Aga Khan. Mr. Gandhi expressed the hope that, iii a week, it might be possible to report some sort of settlement. Sir Muhammad Shaft said that the proposal was that each group should select one or more representatives Jto meet and see if, by ah exchange of ideas, it was possible to reach a satisfactory settlement, and thus lighten the burden which rested on the Minority. Committee as a;, whole. ".;..' ','.',.' The Prime Minister, who presided, said- that he hoped the adjournment would be fruitful of goqd results.
