Mr. Herbert Hill, of -Walter.: Hill and bons, wool buyers, Christchurch, who ha« lost, returned .from' Bradford, estimated thaf.tho exchange' rate between England and Aew Zealand gave the benefit to the Dominion growers >to the extent of about-a farthing a'pound, but the difference was Blight,- and the English buyers allowed for: therextra: amount in their expenses.-A £100 worth of wool purchased; byTßritain woulcl be worth about £110 to ; the ;New- Zealand' grower. Bradford buyers, Mr.HilJ. helieved, were not expecting -any .great increase' in values in the immediate future. But there were signs of improvement; and the opinion was expressed ml England, that trade conditions woulS'-soon be on- a better basis. •
