' The annual quadrangular Rugby competition between the Wellington, Wanganui, Manawatu, and Wairarapa-primary school terns concluded at Masterton to-day, Wairarapa winning. the banner outright. Wanganui were second, one point behind, and Wellington third. The position o£ the teams and the points are:—Wairarapa 5, Wanganui:4, Wellington 3, Manawatu 0. Iv the final gamerf1 to-day, Wairarapa defeated Manawatu' by 17 points to nil, and- Wanganui defeated Wellington by an unconverted try and .penalty goal to.nil. NEW PLYMOUTH, 26th August. .Taranaki won the primary schools quadrangular Rugby tournament, going .through without a defeat. ■ Horo'whenua secured the first win t.o-day, beating- Rangitikei by 6 poiats to 5. Taranaki defeated Hutt Valley by 6 points to 5. Horowhenua, Rangitikev Hutt Valley were' level, with one win each"..
