DEAR ONES:
This Fairy Ring seems to be to-night a left-over from the Animal Page. Indeed, and most of the stories which could not be squeezed into that are here . . ■-. and Bobbin's horses, and Lolita's "ephalump" besides. Some time, maybe, we'll have a double Fairy Ring for our Specials: I must remember to coax the Printer Man before the Spring Child dances along. And dancing, she will be ... so soon, now. 0, I know thai Jack Fr.ost is. .chuckling around the corner every second night, and that the grass still wears its winter-white frock every morn.ing -. . . but have you heard of the dancing daffodils already a-blow?. . . . and have, you seen the tight wee bunches .of daphne in the City shops? There are white and yellow narcissi bending sweet heads, beside me now—• —so we'll snap our .fingers.at Winter and welcome the Spring Child in 0, less .than a .month, dear my pixies. And .1 want your ideas early this time all within the next .fortnight Don't forget. It's sad when a just-right drawing or a topping .story arrives too. late. . . . And stories mustn't be any longer than 600 words. Happiness a-plenty to all my elves FAIRIEL.
