LATE SPORTING
NOTES FROM RICCARTON
(By Telegraph.) ' (Special to "The Evening Post.") CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The weather was cold for training work at-Riccarton this morning. The -No. 7 grass track was open for fast work, but was not used.. All trainers confined their attentions to the sand track, where most of the, horses' did useful pace work. The .previous day's northern arrivals, including Omeo, Pangolin, Copey, and Bon-Aryan did strong pacing. Wiltshire strode out over two circuits, moving freely! ' The morning's work was decidedly uninteresting. Gold Mint and Huntley schooled well over four hurdles. Giggleswick started with them, but- finished in the' rear, losing ground at- each jump. - ■ • • • I TIMES FOR~ADDINGTON (By Telegraph.) , (Special to "The Evening Post.")
