■WARSAW, sth August. It is reported from Vilna that ""an O.G.P.U. (Soviet "Unified State Political Department") detachment raided a Catholic church iv a villago near the Russian frontier, shot dead seven worshippers, wounded 14, arid arrested 145. The leader of tho detachment stated he was informed that a meeting of counter-revolutionaries was being held in the church. The troops got out of control when they were refused admission. The shooting caused, a panic among tho Catholic population. •
