MIRAMAR-RONGOTAI EFFORT.

Some weeks ago the Miramar South Homo ami School Association hold a very successful children's fancy dress bali in the school, the accommodation available being taxed to the full. In response* to numerous requests, the association has agreed to repeat the function on Saturday evening, this time at the Rex Hall, Kilbirnie, and it has decided to hand tho whole of the proceeds to the Miramar-Rongotai branch of the Red Cross Society for the relief of distress .in the district. Sweets and soft drinks will be on sale, there will be some community singing, and after tho children's portion of the entertainment is over, there will be a short dance programme for the grownups. Particulars are advertised.
