A communique- regarding the BerliaJ conversations, issued last night, state 4 that they were" brought to an cud in % further friendly interchange of viewas this afternoon. "Among the maia subjects discussed were the best means of giving effect to the decisions taken, by the London Conference. British and German Ministers then reviewed the general trade position and measures, which might contribute, to alleviatq' tho existing difficulties in that field, 00-ojeration in tho international Convention for uniform hours in. the mm» ing industry was taken into considera» tion.

parations for the meeting of the.forth* coming Disarmament Conference.
