Several teams 'were incomplete on Saturday, due to misunderstandings on the part of sonic of tho players as to whether or not the games would be played. Of tho matches at Ncwtown, the AVellington East-Wesley game attracted most attention, as Wellington East is but one point in the lead for the trophy. -. Wesley were disappointing after their good showing of the previous week, the whole team lacking that little bit of dash necessary to forceful attack. Wellington East were on the offensive right from the start, and energetic and accurate handling of the ball enabled them to put up the strong score of 27 goals to Wesley's 14. Several penalties for personal contact and obstruction were . given against them, and the team would do well to watch the tendency to overguard. Mr. Hamilton was referee. ~ ' '* •

University v. Technical O.G. —Technical played one short throughout the first half, and did well to prevent University from scoring more than 12 goals to their 5. J. Buck was ' excellent as emergency forward. M. Line was in excellent shooting form for University, and M. Dennehy in defence fully warranted her promotion to Senior A. University's passing was of the usual high standard, and was a pleasure to watch. The game ended University 18, Technical O.G. 11. Mr. Hamilton refereed.

Gilbys v. Training College.—ln the first spell Training College were not as sure as usual. The centre was weak, and the goal shooters were off form. Gilbys played wtih spirit, and had the best of the play, their defence spoiling Training College attacks at goal. The score was 15-10 in Gilby's favour. Mr. Froud was in charge of the- game. Y. Gym. v. Brymay.—Too much personal contact, particularly in goal, spoilt Y. Gym.'s play. Their passing was ragged, and weak defensive tactics allowed Brymay to intercept and gain possession. Brymay showed improved form, especially in passing movements. The defence played strongly and proved too strong for the Y. Gym. forwards. Tho,game ended Brymay 9, Y. Gym. 5. -Mr. Froud refereed.
