JUMPERS AT RICCARTON
(By Telograph.) (Special'to "The Evening Post.")
OHBISTOHUECH, This Day
The quietness of tho proceedings, customary on an off day at Eiccarton, was relieved yesterday morning. Most of tho horse's whoever© out did only easy exercise, but variety was given to the •work by some interesting jumping bouts. ■ - .
Wiltshire (K. Syme), Lueess (i 1. Foster), and Wako King (H. Dulieu) were associated in a school twice'round t!ic steeplechase fences. The pace was solid from the start. Wiltshire and Lueess gradually drew away from Wako King, the pair racing neck and neck all the way and giving an attractive exhibition of fast, clean jumping^ Wako King, after dropping back behind the other pair, also jumped 'well. All three finished their work strongly. Prince- Lv (F. Foster) -was schooled over eight hurdles. The pace was not fast, and ho jumped a.trifle big, but he got away well every time after landing. Gigglcswick (1.. Tilson) jumped two hurdles, shaping woll for a novice. Noteworthy (F. Stock) was schooled over two hurdles. ' It was not a firstclass exhibition, but he got over safely, and he will improve in his jumping. .
