ASSURANCE BY MINISTER
WASHINGTON, 12th July
An assurance that the United States bankers were prepared to assist in relieving the German economic situation was given on Sunday by the ActingSecretary of the State Department, Mr. W. K. Castle. He said that tho leadership was left to the European central banks.
