EDUCATIONAL MATTERS

Mr. C. H. Pinnock presided at a meeting of the Wellington School Committees' and Educational Federation held last evening. It was decided that the matter of the hoars of manual instruction in some of the Wellington schools should be referred to the Education Board.

A resolution was passed expressing appreciation of the courtesy extended to Mr. M. A. Ingram by the New South Wales and the South Australian Departments of Education during his visit to Australia.
