The iising foui-year-old'Outward Bound, by Cape -Horn iiom the Gold Reef mare Gold Bound, thus 'a half-brother to the 1921 St. Legor winner, Duo, has been sold by Mrs. M. A. Perry to Mr. W. D. Cdghlan, of Paki Paki, slates a Hawkes Bay report. Outward Bound started thtee times unsuccessfully as a two-year-old, but gave the impiessioa that age would improve him. He has not been seen in action this season, and consequently has had time to develop, and there seems every probability that he will -turn out useful during the coming tcason.
