A LONG CRAWL
A crab has crawled through the Suez Canal from the Red Sea—roughly, 101 miles—in 29 years, an average speed of about 22 inches an hour (says the "Daily Mail." This, fact is .revealed by Professor Grucvil, of the Paris Zoo, who, in collaboration ■with scientists from Cambridge University, lias been studying the movements of sca-fifh and crustaceans between, ths Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The crab in question,- whose scientific name is Neptunus Polanginos, is one of a number of-his family specially marked 29 years ago in the. Rftd Spa.'and lie. has now arrived, with his identity disfc still on him, at Port Said. .
