CHIGHESTER'S FLIGHT
EXPECTED AT MANILA
NEW YORK; 11th July. The people of Manila are awaiting the arrival of the New Zealand aviator, Mr. F. C. Chichester, who is supposed to reach there on his flight from Australia to Japan, on 14th July. A warm welcome has been prepared* but there has been no news of him so> far, since there is no cable or radio.; communication from the innumerably tiny islands over which, ho should \>ei flying. .-.
