ONE SHOT, OTHERS ARRESTED

' . SYDNEY, 12th" July. ■ Claudo Davis, a storekeeper at Seven-1 hills, i near Parramat'ta,' had ', affixed ,a burglar alarm from his small, lonely store to his residence, a quarter.of a mil 6 away. He was awakened early this morning by the alarm. . ■ '.'['.'
He partly (dressed, took a doublebarrelled' loaded gun, and discovered the store,in the possession of throe burglars. One man surrendered, and the two others ran away in the .<la/k----neiis.
Davis fired, and shot oho man dead. The other man later was arrested when entering his own home.
A large quantity of goods were packed ready for removal by the would-be thieves.
This is the second burglar killed within a week.
