WOOLCOMBERS STRIKE
LONDON, 12th July. !A' total' of 9000 Avoolcombers have struck as a protest against the reductions in wages. .
Tlio Textile Workers' Union has decided on a ballot of all members on the question of a strike.
A surprise was created in the wool and textile industry at Bradford on Thursday last by the announcement that a number of employers,had decided that; they *ero no longer able to maintain the present rates of wages, and accordingly were making reductions of 11.7 per cent. in tho wages of their "workers. Instead of a general notice, each operativo was to. receive notice at the "week-end. '
