During the week-ond a stroke competition and a handicap against bogey were played at Titahi, and the scores were very good, in spite of the somewhat difficult {conditions.'1 The greens were in very good trim considering the heavy rains of last week. The stroke handicap was won by R. A. Lulham (16), net 71. Tho runner-up was K. F. Aitken (20), 72. Other scoies were: Gibson (6), Hughes (16), Kunkel (18), 73: Caughley (20), 74; Stone (16), Boon, .iunr. (16), 75; W. B. Watson (24), 77; Hardcastle (10), 78. In the bogey handicap the winner was C. Langbein (12), 2 Tipy-atnl-the runners-up Stone (16) and Aitken (20), all square. Other scores were: Boon, senr. (10), 2 down; A.
