VANCOUVER, 9th July. At Forest Hills, on Wednesday, in the professional tennis- tournament, Albert Burke, the Irish-French tennis player, defeated Harold Daniel Martclla, of Wilmington (Delaware), 6-1, 6-0, 6-3. George Agutter (Forset Hills) was from T. Sanicelli by 'default. Vincent Richards beat Allan Bchr, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0. In the second round, W: T. Tilden, who had a bye in the first round, defeated James Burnes, 6-1 6-0, 6-1. F. T. Hunter defeated Phil Bagly (Kansas City), 6-0, 6-0, (5-3. Kozeluh defeated Harold Moore by default. Richards beat Allen Bohr, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0. The courts are in good condition, but, the delay caused several defaults. The matches were changed to the best three put of five instead of the best two out of three.
