SUCCESSFUL DANCE

PUBLIC WORKS STAFF i ' -\ A most successful dance was given it the Adelplu Cabaret last evening by tho staff of the Public-Works Depaii'ment. About three hundred dancers were present, and the cabaret presented a very festive appearance. Both ballrooms were used for dancing, and supper was served in the lounge. The two secretaries, Miss Beryl Downes and Mr. B. A. Burns, and a capable committee had made excellent plans for tho entertainment' and comfort of the guests. Miss Downes wore a frock of coral satin and georgette with furtrimmed coatco to tone. Other membeis of the committee \jrero Misses Marshall (who wore green lace and georgette).
