They kept together till a hundred yards from ,the winning post, when Dunraven drew away gradually,' finishing a length in front. It was a good performance' on the part of both horses. They acted well on the {rack, and Belvoir, though beaten, went Very creditably, as he was conceding his mate a lot of weight. Winsome Hind occupied 53 2-ssec for half, a mile, and Zeebrugge accompanied Straightcourso in a similar, task: Moorbird had Shatter as a mato for five furlongs, run in lmin 5 l-ssec, the pair finishing on well. Fresh Breeze strode out in a working gallop over seven furlongs. Taragonaand Arikiwai were to have galloped together, but the former went off in front, doing six furlongs in lmin 19 l-ssee, the last four in 51'4-ssee. Arikiwai followed his mate after a good gap, taking lmin 33sec for seven furlongs. Semper Paratus was given easy "work over half &< mile. Rascal and Eoyal Mint occupied lmin 8 3-ssee for five furlongs, without being unduly bustled. Amorist moved freely in a useful gallop: over six furlongs. ~
