In his six Reasons'Oiii'tliefTurf he contested 45 races for ten wins,-six; seconds, and four thirds, win_iii_f.,'.£.3ood in stakes.
Reviewing his record, -the "New Zealand Herald" hag theffollowing to say: Pouri'si first 1 season''wa's in 1925-26, when as. a'five-; 1 year-old he 1 started 1 ;: lii five races, being unplaced each time; In the following' season he again Started five times, and was more successful, gaining one win and two: seconds. His win was scored in the Ladies' Bracelet at the. Waikatb'- HuntMeeting,' when he was ridden by his owner, Mr.-;H.!T).:iMatthews, of Hamilton. A year later.the combination was again successful hi,-the same race, after Pouri had won the Hunters' Hurdles earlier in the'day.
