Bishop Whyte, interviewed, said: • "It is perfectly true-that: Bishops Brodie, Liston, and myself were strongly opposed to the proposals of the Bible-in-Schools Party,; made at a conference held in Wellington on 30th April, 1930. It is also true, that I was present with Bishop Brodie when he reminded the visitors, Colonel Studholmo, and the Hon. L. M. Isitt, of what had taken place- at that conference." •-. ft .' ft
