Singapore pineapples have recently hardened in price, the latest rise being "4d per dozen for cubes. Peppers showed a sharp rise on Tuesday of 2d per pound since the cabled quotation of 22nd June. All spices are reported dearer, mace by 2%d per lb, and nutmegs' also 2%d dearer. Tapioca and sagos are dearer.
