SUSPENSION ORDER

,WHAKATANE SOLICITOR

Suspension for three years was ordered by the Court of Appeal to-day in the case of John Merven Hobin, solicitor, of Whakatane, against whom proceedings were taken in the Court on Monday afternoon by the Now Zealand Law Society on the ground that he had failed to keep his trust account in proper order during the past nine months. After hearing Mr. H. F. Yon Haast, who appeared for the Law Society, and Mr. F. C. Spratt, on behalf of the practitioner on Monday, the Court reserved its decision.

Hobin was ordered to yny 15 guineas costs and disbursements, including the auditor's fee.
