Kaiu interfered with county cricket. The results of the current niatchet are:— Kent v. Sussex, at Tunbridgo Wells. —Kent, 258 (Tato five for 77), and 326 (Ames 112). Sussex, 271 (Duleepsinhji 91), and 316 for three (Duleepsinhji 127). Sussex won by seven wickets. Essex v. Hampshire, at Colchester.— Hampshire, 69 and 150 (Nichol five for 48). Essex, 69 (Baring nine for 26), and second innings 151 for eight wickets. Essex won by two wickets. Lancashire v. Middlesex, at Manchester.—Lancashire, 323 (Iddon 137). Middlesex, 164 (Iddon four for 43). Lancashire won on the first innings. Somerset v. Glamorgan, at Bath. — Somerset, 317. Glamorgan, 225 v (Dysott 77). Somerset won on the first innings. Northants v. Gloucester, at Kettering. —Gloucester, 453. for nine wickets, declared (Bacre 165). Northants, 150, and followed oiij 229 for four (Bakewell 134). Gloucester won on the first' innings. ■ • Yorkshire v. Surrey, at Bradford.— Surrey, 165 (Bowes six for 93), and 61 (Verity six for 11). Yorkshire, 281 for four, declared (Leyland 124). Yorkshire won by an innings and 55. Derbyshire and Leicestershire, at Ashby-cle-la-Zouch. —Derby, 219 and 59 for seven, declared. Leicestershire, 79 (Slathe five for 28) and 44 for five. Derby won on the first innings. Warwickshire v. Worcestershire, at Birmingham. —Warwick, 218, and 166 for six, declared. AVorcester, 117, (Paine six for 42) and 155 for four. Warwick won on the first innings.
