At a meeting of the New Zealand Life Saving Council, it was announced that the Wigram Shield competition for 1931 resulted as follows: —Mauawatu head centre, 415 awards, 952-1 points, 16.1 proportion, 1; Wanganui head centre, 257 awards, 776 points, proportion 12.9, 2.
