BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders : against the bylaws were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S;M. For failing to keep to the left with a motor-car, D. E. Fouhy was convicted and ordered to pay costs. ' .Alfred Antrolius was fined 10s for permitting the use of an unlicensed motorcycle. ' V ' ':- A breach of the parking regulations cost Annie M. Barton ' 10s. • Basil Love was convicted and ordered to pay costs for using an unlicensed motorcycle. \ For using a car not displaying proper assigned number plates, Thomas G. Ricketts was convicted and ordered to pay costs. ■ . . . . • A fine of 10s was inflicted on.Sang Lee and J. Purchase for permitting the use of unlicensed motor-trucks. Reginald W. Norman was convicted and ordered to pay costs for driving without lights. ■ . . . ■ On a charge of permitting the use of an unlicensed motor-car, Albert E. Wells was fined 10s. Fines of 10s in each case were inflicted on Selwyn L. Bedell, Robert H. Jones, Robert Cashman, Jack F. Bristed, Owen Hurney, Janies B. Laughlan, Patricia Mills, Neil H. Nankivell, Lawrence G. E. Perkins, Frederick G. Powell, Henry G. Scott, Samuel B. Williams, and Robert Malcolm for using unregistered motorcars. Jack F. Andrew's, Heber H. Walker, and Giovann.oi Formichella were convicted and ordered to pay costs for similar offences. : William R. Freeman was fined 10s, and Claude E. Miles was convicted and ordered to pay costs, for using unlicensed motorlorries. ■ . ■'.'■' . . The following _ were fined the amounts indicated for driving in a manner which might have been dangerous to the public: Henry Foley, Vincent Rodgers, £2; Gordon Brunette, Kenneth R. Port, £1 lOsj Horace B. Turvey, £1.. For not. haying-driving licences, Louis Cohen, Basil Love, Frank Lonsdale, Duncan C. tßeid, Eric D. Smith, Harold A. Tobin, and Harold F. Walker were each fined 10s.
