Sandwith, Wellington, arc staying at "Warner's Hotel, Christchurch. Mrs. Frank Rhodes is the guest of her sister, Mrs. X S. Baldwin, Lyall Bay. Mrs. I. G. Hall, Islington, Christchurch, will leave Wellington tomorrow by the Ulimaroa for-Sydney, en route to England. Miss Sylvia Gosso and Miss Dorothea Sharp have been successful in winning the silver medal and the bronze medal, respectively, offered for the first time at the spring exhibition of th Royal Society of British Artists. The competition between entrants was very keen, and the two women com-' peted with many men. ,; •
