"' :;' : " ''While the more general impression ereated by Mr.- Holland's statement to ■'the *Post' reporter is sound, possible • misinterpretation might arise from, one or two details in his statement. The Bill is yet to bo finally considered by tho full executive of- tho league at the end of next week,- and is still'open to possible amendments. Any suggestions from tlie New Zealand Educational Institute are yet to bo 'considered, the Institute Executivo having been ap-, proached three months ago with this in view. His Grace Archbishop O'Shea's letter of Ist July confirms the'opinion-expressed by Mr. Holland its this way, in-'- that ho approves as Archbishop of tho Roman Catholic :Church in New Zealand the two chief clauses of the; Bill submitted to him in which - the Koman Catholics are particularly concerned, and is satisfied.! that they, fulfil the .terms of the agree-; ment. it is expected.. that the Bill will, take final . shape about a week hence." . ; ,', ,'.'
