ÜBERAL PROPOSALS

FOUND IN AMENDMENT

(British Official Wireless.) (.Received 3rd July, 11 a.m.) V KTJGBY, 2nd July. On the proposal for the exemption of playing fields from the land tax, when the exemption clause comes before the House of Commons this afternoon, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Snowdcn, will move a Government amendment which embodies the Liberal proposals. At to-night's session the report stage of the Mnance Bill, which embodies the land tax proposals, will bo concluded, and the third reading of the Bill will bo talcen to-morrow.
