Officers elected at. the annual meeting of-the Karon; Club- on.. Monday were:— President, Mr. G. Gapes; vice-president, Mr. G. Springhall; secretary, Mr. C. Holden; treasurer, Mr. W. Burrow; delegate fa the centre, Mr. W. Gilbert; selector; 'Saturday 'ganies, Mr. A. .Cathie; mid-week games, Mr. E. M. Sunley; committee; .'Messrs. .E. M.. Smiley, S. Dryden, A Cathie, W. Gilbert, H. Field, J. Jordan,' P.' Dyett, B. G. H. Burn, H. Smallbone; auditor, Mr. C. I. Dasent. Several trophies were offered for competition duriiig the forthcoming season, and a number of seats for the green were Lockett was elected a life member of the club. •. . , ■ Provision was taken m the rules tor tne admission of honorary members. The meeting was adjourned for a month, when a proposal to change the club s col-ours-will-be brought forward,-and the opinion of the club will be taken with regard to the conduct of pennant matches.
