The Empire billiards championship* were continued in Sydney. The New Zealander, Hackett. was outclassed by the former English amateur, champion, L. Steeples. The scores were:—Steeples, 1332 (breaks 177, 144); Hackett, 273 (break 38). The match is 2000 up.
