BURNT TO DEATH
FATE OF TWO AIRWOMEN
LONDON, 19th June,
Two airwomen were burned to death near the De Haviland Flying School aerodrome, at Hatfield. Tho machine crashed and immediately took fire, the bodies of both women being incinerated.
Onn = was Miss O'Brien, daughter of Sir Timothy O'Brien, and one of the best-known airwomen in Britain. She lost a leg in an air smash in 1928, but -afterwards again qualified as a pilot. .
