THREE KILLED, MANY HURT

LONDON, 19th June.
"The Times" Banlin correspondent says that three persons were killed and eighty injured, and 130 houses wrecked by a whirlwind which swept the Else Valley, in Westphalia. Beams, scaffolding, roofs, and. fencing were blown into the air, amd sturdy trees uprooted. Tiles hurtling in the air caused most of the casualties. The tornado followed terrific thunderstorms. Lightning struck a big farm in. Meckletnbiirg, and set fire to a sheep shed, incinerating four hundred sheep.
